I'm an architect, designer, creative coder + educator based in London. Currently working freelance + in collaboration across architecture, installation + design projects, while teaching at the Bartlett.


Jessica In MAS (ETH) ARBV AIA MArch (RMIT) BPDArch(UMelb)

Originally from Melbourne Australia via Ithaca, Seoul and Zurich, Jessica is an Architect, Creative Coder + Designer, with experience as both practitioner and university educator. Her design specialisations and interests lie in computation, interaction and fabrication methodologies for Architecture, with a particular emphasis on the expressive potential of technology as a means to explore bespoke design. She currently freelances independently and in collaboration across architecture, design + installation projects while teaching at the Bartlett School of Architecture in London, where she is also a PhD candidate. Her research work explores the role of programming and machine learning in architectural drawing. She can also be found coding visuals for music videos, creating virtual environments for string marionettes as well as making industrial robots dance with light.

Currently a Lecturer (Teaching) at the Bartlett School of Architecture, where she runs BSc Unit 9 with Chee-Kit Lai. Prior to joining the Bartlett she was a Designer at Heatherwick Studio, responsible for the Project Coordination and Production of the Google Campus in Mountain View and the Hudson Yards Vessel sculpture projects.

Before coming to the UK she was a Project Architect at Minifie van Schaik Architects, where she was responsible for the day-to-day running of several AIA award winning projects, including the Edithvale Wetlands Centre and the Wattle Avenue House. She also led design studios in the undergraduate school at RMIT Architecture in Melbourne.
